Let me tell you some things about protein powder.......

First of, I haven't posted a new blog in a long time and I thought it was time to get back to business.

One of the most common questions I get from clients is, "What protein powder should I buy?"
We all know, that there are more the hundred different brands, flavours, and types of powders out there, but in my opinion there's only one type of powder that really makes sense to me.

I always reccommend a protein blend. A good mix of whey isolate/concentrate, egg albumin, milk p… Continue

Homemade protein bars! Recipe inside!

What can I say, it's saturday.........blog time!

This week I'm going to give you a really nice recipe to make your own homemade protein bars, but before I have to talk a bit about the whole stuff.

I know, most of us know the basics of supplementation (if not, let me know and I'll write some more blogs about supplementation) and I don't want to point it out in this blog, but if you're on the go, or you're traveling it is going to be complicated. This is where protein bars t… Continue

1 tip to blast your chest, triceps and core at the end of your chest workout!!

It's saturday, blog time!

So, when I'm working with my clients in the gym I see many people doing the standard, boring pushup after a chest workout. There's nothing wrong with that, but you could get much more of this excersise by just adding a physioball to it.

With the physioball more balance is required wich will recruit more muscle fibres and that's what we want. We want to recruit as much muscle fibres as possible to get best results.

Here is what it looks like:… Continue

Recovery shake recipe! An option for those of you who want to gain some mass!

So, it's saturday and I'm back with a new blog entry!

As discussed in one of my earlier blog posts, it's not all about protein as your post workout choice!
If you want to gain same mass you need, carbs, fats and protein to make sure to get your body in the best state for recovery.

So here's what you need:

10 oz of skim milk
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 large banana
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1-2 scoops of your favourite protein powder

Put it all… Continue

That would be great, Jens! My weak point with training, nutrition, and other aspects of muscle-building/fat-burning is scientific research. Most of my knowledge is based on experience, but I think a lot of people prefer to have tested proof of what works, and what doesn't. Thanks again for the support.
